Preventing damage

A fork lift driver needs to work very accurately when picking up and transporting pallets on extreme heights. A lot of damage can easily be caused to the load if one of the forks is slightly out of position. With the use of an Orlaco camera system every frame and beam can be clearly seen on the monitor ensuring full visibility. The image shown on the monitor is extremely accurate and sharp. The driver is also able to see in poor lighting conditions, thanks to the systems cameras own built-in high intensity LED light.

Preventing neck and back problems

The forklift driver needs to be able to manoeuvre his vehicle in order to work faster and more efficiently. Their backs and necks especially take a lot of strain due to the fact that they have to continuously look upwards to position loads and also twist their body to enable them to look backwards when reversing. Orlaco supplies camera-monitor systems that have amply proved their worth - they are guaranteed to function correctly even in the most extreme (weather) conditions. For the maritime sector in particular, it is of the utmost importance that the cameras should be watertight and free of condensation (IP 68, nitrogen-filled).


The orlaco cameras are waterproof and provided with a heated lens so that they will function in all weather conditions. The hardened lens glass will also remain scratch free.

Commercial vehicles:

Every truck driver is aware of and experiences daily, the hazardous 'blind spot'. When a driver needs to take a corner and turn right, he literally needs to twist his entire body in his seat in order to see if there are any objects next to his vehicle. The 'notorious' blind spot is feared by truck drivers as well as their fellow road users

Risky and dangerous situations can occur when a vehicle reverses or turns left or right. The drivers of current commercial vehicles are not able to see anything happening in the area falling between ten to fifteen metres behind their vehicle. In order to solve this problem, it is possible to add a rear vision camera to one of Orlaco's current camera vision systems. As an extra option, it is also possible to add a route-navigation system and have this image projected onto the same monitor as the camera system
